Cryptoart is booming; here I want to highlight 3 emerging top artists who are also involved with Rarible and the trashart movement: StellaBelle (@stellabelle on Twitter), DKleine (@_DKleine on Twitter), & CloudCoastin (@cloudcoastincr1 on Twitter).

STELLABELLE

StellaBelle is why most people will click this article; she has an infectious excitement about cryptoart & has been sharing a daily “Top 5” video on twitter. She was also kind enough to host a short (but buggy) interview with yours truly — link below. Her 5-minute summary of trashart (with Robness’ help) was spot-on & she has been “in crypto” and cryptoart since 2017 so is very knowledgable about the field (galleries, other artists, etc), generally.

Artistically, StellaBelle’s art is ALIVE & POPPIN’ (sometimes POOPIN’)— her animations loop fast & rhythmically like a spark-plug sequence or a tweaker drummer. The pieces are typically imbued with meaning and/or commentary. They also tend to be rather absurd, which is all the rage now in cryptoart. Two i’ll mention: Her profile pic on NFTShowroom is on the left, and a self-commentary mint on eth is on the right.

Since art is an attention game, as StellaBelle’s “Top 5” escalates in popularity and viewership, so too will…
