Let’s convince Medium to take Iota
Medium is an important, um, medium for exchange of ideas. The iota community is especially keen to share ideas on Medium. Unfortunately, Medium is only free for 5 views/month. After that it’s $5/month. Currently, you can only pay for a subscription with fiat.
I have a proposal — as a community, lets try and convince Medium to take iota. To sweeten the deal for medium I propose that users paying with iota pay double the fiat rate, so $10 or 37-ish iota per month. What we would accomplish is remarkable: the first widespread usecase of iota would be to get a Medium subscription and get access to more information all about the iota project.
So, I call on the iota community to (1) write your own tweet or FB post in support of Medium taking iota (2) re-tweet Collin’s tweet announcing this article (3) clap for this article (4) write a message directly to Medium by submitting a request; state specifically that you are “presently ready and willing to subscribe to Medium at $10 worth of iota per month.” Cite this article.

With Delion, someone new to crypto who is curios about iota just needs an email to receive and send iota — very easy UX, no wallet, private keys etc required. Then we can move them to Trinity. Lets onboard as many people into out community as we can (Fuck you Tron you suck). Next, we can work on getting @jack and Twitter Public Policy to take iota, and we’ll be on the way to the price increase rocketship (if you’re into that sort of thing).
I hope @Green_Protocol and Dominik Schiener will support this effort. They are two of my favorite carriers of the iota torch — I love to watch Dom swear up a blue streak when explaining the tangle and Darren is doing some amazing stuff with iota, solar and smart homes.
